BOTANICAL PROFILE
Rosemarinus officinalis (Rosemary) is a strongly aromatic perennial evergreen shrub native to the Mediterranean region.
Rosemary forms low-arching branches which are populated with delicate purple-blue flowers.
Chamomile contains finely dissected leaves and daisy-like flowers with yellow disk florets and white rays.
The leaves are shaped like needles and produce the strongly aromatic essential oil. They are darker on the upper side while the lower side is covered in short white hairs.

Camphorous
" A strong, fresh, woody-herbaceous, somewhat minty-forestlike odor. "
" The ‘high’ fresh notes vanish quickly, yielding to a clean, woody-balsamic bodynote which tones out in a dry- herbaceous, but very pleasant and tenacious, bitter-sweet note. "

Perfume and Flavor Materials of Natural Origin (1960)
"In perfume, rosemary is used, similar to lavender, to add an herbal, aromatic quality, especially to the top notes of colognes and fougères."
"But unlike lavender, whose sharp, gray-blue presence is always unmistakable, rosemary notes tend to be shy, to blend into the background."
