Accessibility

We want the farm to be welcoming to disabled visitors and their families. Our policy is simple and applied consistently.

If you have any questions about the site or how we can help you make the most of your visit, please do not hesitate to email us. We are a small family business and are happy to discuss practical arrangements in advance to help make your visit as accessible and enjoyable as possible.

Admission

Wheelchair users are admitted free of charge.
Children aged 0–3 enter free.
All other visitors, including companions, family members and friends, pay standard admission.
We do not offer other concession tickets.

If you'd like us to consider a specific situation, please email in advance at info@scottishlavenderoils.com — we can't make exceptions at the gate on the day.

We are a small family-run farm with a short summer opening season. This policy is calibrated to keep things fair, transparent, and workable for our seasonal staff. We welcome enquiries in advance from any visitor who'd like to discuss their visit before booking.

Dogs

The farm is a working agricultural site producing lavender for distillation. We cannot allow dogs into the farm for crop hygiene reasons.

Because the lavender rows are part of a working crop, we may ask assistance dog users to follow a suitable route, keep the dog under close control, or avoid entering between the lavender rows where a reasonable alternative route is available.

Mobility and the site

Most areas are accessible to wheelchair users, though some grass routes can be difficult after heavy rain.

Toilets are Scotloo portable units. There is no baby changing facility.

If you have specific mobility needs, please contact us before booking and we'll advise on the best routes.

Access to the distillery by car during the tour is available. This avoids the ten-minute walk across the fields. Please mention this to staff at the front entrance and they can arrange it.

Bees

The farm is actively pollinated and bees are present throughout the flowering season. Visitors with severe bee or wasp allergies should plan accordingly and carry their own medication.

Please contact us in advance

If your circumstances aren't clearly covered by this policy, please email us before your visit at info@scottishlavender.com. Our gate staff apply the policy as written and don't have discretion to vary it on the day. Emailing in advance means we can give your situation proper attention and confirm arrangements before you travel.
