Lavandin is a hybrid of two different types of lavender: Lavandula angustifolia ("English lavender") and Lavandula latifolia ("spike lavender"). Lavandin essential oil is obtained by the ethical steam distillation of harvested blooms.

Lavandin essential oil provides slightly different properties than its cousin, "English" lavender. The oil is slightly more potent than other lavenders and provides a diverse range of benefits.
Lavandin helps the respiratory system, combats depression, and can reduce pain and inflammation.
Did you know... that Lavandin is sometimes called "French Lavender" because of its historical connection with the French perfume industry. Its stronger scent and higher yields made it particularly valuable in the mid 20th century.
