The wildflower meadow at the farm was planted for pollinators. We use our own seed blend - a mix of native wildflowers selected to provide a long season of forage for bees and other insects. In summer it's one of the most visited parts of the farm.

The perfume takes its name from a Burns poem. The connection isn't incidental - the meadow, the bees, and the lavender field alongside it are part of the same system. The essential oil in every Middleshade perfume starts with what grows here.
