The Falls of Dochart run through the centre of Killin, where the river drops over flat shelves of rock before opening out into Loch Tay.

The tayberry was bred in Scotland in 1979 at the research institute at Invergowrie, on the banks of the Tay, and named after the river. It's a hybrid - blackberry crossed with raspberry - and it doesn't grow wild.

The perfume opens with autumn berries and Scots pine. Mossy stone through the middle, clary sage underneath. The four notes together are the smell of a Perthshire riverbank in October - cold water, wet rock, the last of the season's fruit.
